Le projet consiste en la rénovation profonde de cette maison de maître construite au début du XXe siècle dont l'annexe menaçait de s'écrouler.

Les travaux de rénovation ont été conduits avec la volonté de conserver au mieux les éléments et matériaux nobles encore présents dans l'habitation, à rétablir la cohérence spatiale de l'ensemble et à créer un jardin dans la courette arrière laissée totalement à l'abandon.

 

La dichotomie entre la façade avant et la façade arrière habituelle dans ces habitations reste d'actualité : la façade avant est restaurée et ses châssis remplacés en visant à reconduire la préciosité des divisions et sections des châssis de fenêtres qui font le caractère de cette habitation, le garde-corps d'inspiration Art Nouveau est totalement restauré ; la façade arrière est traitée de façon contemporaine, avec simplicité et élégance, comme un écho contemporain à l'ancien.

The project consists of the deep renovation of this mansion built at the beginning of the 20th century, the annex of which threatened to collapse.

The renovation work was carried out with the desire to preserve as much as possible the noble elements and materials still present in the house, to restore the spatial coherence of the whole and to create a garden in the rear courtyard left completely abandoned.

The dichotomy between the front facade and the usual rear facade in these homes remains relevant: the front facade is restored and its frames replaced, aiming to renew the preciousness of the divisions and sections of the window frames that make up the character of this home, the Art Nouveau-inspired railing has been completely restored; the rear facade is treated in a contemporary way, with simplicity and elegance, like a contemporary echo of the old.
